According to data released by Apartment List, more than 1/3rd of remote or hybrid workers plan to move within 2023. This survey took place in December 2022 and interviewed more than 6,000 participants. Their full data explores the motives and rationale for so many workers seeking a new place to live. Top among them are the desires for a more spacious living environment, relocating to be closer to family, reduction in the rental cost, and greater access to urban amenities.
If you are a landlord, only you can answer that question. 27% of fully remote workers, 31% of hybrid remote workers, and 17% of on-site workers intend to move in 2023. That is a lot of turnover to handle in a short time. Landlords are going to spend a lot of time cleaning out buildings, performing maintenance tasks, looking for new renters, doing background checks, paperwork, returning security deposits, and more. If you don’t have time for that then 2023 might be the perfect year to consider hiring a property management company.
While property management varies from company to company, Cincy Rents offers a lot of practical solutions to make your life as a landlord easier.
